    Superb

The efficient and courteous staff, the view on to the pier and the sea, easy access to public transport and the station

Lack of ventilation in the room so the windows steamed up

  • 7.0
    Very good

Very friendly but single-glazing windows + above a club = sleepless night

  • 9.2
    Superb

Cycled locally - Cuckmere and Friston Forest and also along the front at Brighton - Shoreham to Saltdean

Cooked breakfast only available as from 11am

Staff were very friendly and helpful, atmosphere was very relaxed.

The room had a great view,

Our room was directly over the bar and very noisy. There was no room service even though advertised

    Good

Good sized room. Good breakfast. Staff lovely & friendly. Good shower. Very clean. There was no cooked breakfast but what was on offer was good. The bar area was also good.

It was next to a night club, didn't sleep at all the first night, had to move rooms. At one point it sound like we had 50 people in our room all talking at once. I even had ear plugs in, I've never experienced anything like it before in a hotel, The room was a good size but not sure what they mean by "boutique room" thought it was a bit cheap looking.

    Superb

The sea views from the room were priceless, The windows were massive and hence a great view! The room was large and very clean with an excellent bed. Had a small problem, was dealt with efficiently by a staff member named Felice - great customer service! The hotel was very quiet and peaceful the two days we stayed (although it was weekday). Will stay again.

Although it had a good working order lcd tv in room, however I felt it was too small (14') for the size of the room; the remote control was useless but I didn't bother the staff with that as I was able to watch tv. I didn't have breakfast but I think If I am paying for it, I should be able to get our breakfast in our room as a service. Although the room was big and had awesome views it was very basic, It could do with a fridge to keeps drinks and perhaps a microwave. I felt the premium price was only because of the views (although very nice room but very simple).

    Exceptional

Perfect location - really helpful staff, our dogs were made very welcome as well and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was excellent.

    Exceptional

Excellent service from very friendly and pleasing staff! Good quality rooms at good weekend prices.

Obviously it's noisy late at night being right in the thick of the bars and clubs and on the sea front.

    Exceptional

Good location: Brighton Pier and the sea are seen from the window and all tourist sights of Brighton are within 10 minutes walk. The only hotel we have encountered in our journey where we have found iron and ironing board in the room. Nice rooms, friendly people.

At Booked.net this hotel is described as the one with parking. In fact, it doesn't has any. We were lucky to park our car on the street just in front of the hotel, but usually thus parking is for residents only. The nearest parkhouse is quite far away. If you travel by car, you'd better look for another hotel in Brighton.

    Superb

It is great little hotel in a fantastic location. Right near the sea life. We have stayed in there for 4 nights and we certainly our time in there. The staffs are excellent.

The only downside is there is no air conditioning in the rooms and it really gets hot during the night. You can’t open the windows either as it is very noise outside. You would have thought they would at least put fans in there. Fantastic location though.

Staff are very welcoming and cannot do enough for their guests. The hotel is very clean. Perfect. Would Definately go back and recommend this hotel.

    Fabulous

    Great location.

Room was a little stuffy. Needed a/c or fan as it was too noisy to leave window open at night.

location was great! staff friendly but a bit overpriced for a 3 star hotel

the rooms were a bit hot and stuffy

    Fabulous

Staff were outstanding. Location was fantastic, bar was funky11 Brighton is a favourite town of ours!!!

We have experienced budget B&B's in Brighton, to this as the most expensive we have spent on one night. We treated ourselves to the boutique room which had a balcony, you had to climb out the window to get to which was tricky!! The room was small for the price and the biggest dissapointment was that the mattress was awful to sleep on, you would think for that money per night you would get a lovely firm matteress, not a lumpy bumpy weak one!!
